The Only Required Item: Your ID
Every candidate needs to have one valid, government-issued ID. It must be:
- Original (no scans or digital photos)
- Unexpired
- Clear and readable
- Matched exactly to the name on your test registration
Acceptable IDs include:
Passport • Driver’s License • National/State ID • Military ID • Digital ID
If your name recently changed, you need to bring official documentation, such as a marriage certificate or court order.
How Kryterion’s AI Check-In Works
Kryterion uses an AI-powered automated check-in system to complete all identity and environment verification before your exam begins.
Here’s what candidates experience:
1. ID Photo Capture
The AI will prompt you to take:
- A clear photo of the front of your ID
- A clear photo of the back of your ID (if applicable)
Make sure your ID is well lit, readable, and not obstructed by glare.
2. AI Room Scan
Next, the system will guide you through capturing photos of your testing environment. You may be asked to show:
- Your entire desk surface
- Under and around the desk
- Walls, floor, and corners of the room
- Any additional monitors (must be unplugged or turned away)
The AI confirms that your space is free from unauthorized materials and distractions.
3. Facial Verification
Our AI compares your face to your ID photo so make sure that:
