Milissa Danceur Chief People Officer

MILISSA DANCEUR

Chief People Officer

With a lifelong goal of transforming rigid, unintelligible policies and procedures into something that supports and centers on humans, Milissa joined Kryterion with a broad and deep expertise in People Operations. Her background in technology (Saas), financial services (Silicon Valley Bank), retail (Lowe’s), supply chain (Capital), and consulting industries has enabled Kryterion to move swiftly from a single site to a sustainable, multi-site, global organization. Milissa has had a key influence on Kryterion’s global expansion, as well as leading the organizational transition to People Services and Operations (POPS.) With the support of her Executive teammates, Milissa is proud to help pave the way for many uncomfortable questions and unexpectedly successful experiments. Milissa’s strategic and somewhat unconventional approach to the people and process side of the enterprise focuses on unique and effective talent acquisition and retention, optimizing the use of people analytics for the greater good of the organization, building the Talent Development Program, including Individual Development Plans at all levels, creating executive coaching, and advancing leadership development. Milissa and her team of borderline iconoclasts lead benefits and retirement plan administration and develop and implement compensation strategy and planning.

When not helping others to wade through the corporate mire, Milissa is dreaming up new ways to subvert the corporate paradigm, on-line gaming with son Gibson, or trying to slog her way through an unending list of home improvement projects with wife Wendy and fielding “adulting” questions from aspirational adult daughter, Kaya. She received her BS in International Studies, Economics from SIT, and was granted a lifetime SPHR certification from HRCI, probably because they were tired of her continual questions.

In her role at Kryterion, Leslie and her team work closely with clients to help them make the best decisions for their programs based on her extensive expertise, experience, and practical approach to problem-solving. Leslie finds her inspiration for the industry by helping organizations translate their business goals into a program that provides real value to their stakeholders such as increased public safety, enhanced product adoption, higher customer satisfaction, or lower support costs.

When she is not working, Leslie enjoys taking her spoiled dogs on hikes or you will find her competing in Hunter/Jumper shows with her horse, never a dull moment. Growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania she was subject to cold temperatures and lake effect snow and can now take full advantage of the beautiful year-round weather in Scottsdale, Arizona.
