Employee Spotlight: Anastasia Naftaliev, Digital Marketing Manager

From Storyteller to Strategist 

Anastasia began her Kryterion journey as a Content Marketing Manager, focused on SEO, thought leadership, and brand storytelling. Her curiosity and drive to connect content with business outcomes led her to expand into paid media, demand generation, and digital advertising. That evolution sparked her current role, leading digital strategy to drive qualified leads and elevate Kryterion’s visibility in a competitive market. 

“I love connecting the dots between storytelling, targeting, and performance. That’s where digital marketing really comes alive.” 

Turning Challenges into Growth 

Transitioning from an organic content focus to full ownership of paid campaigns was a major shift. Anastasia dove into performance analytics, embraced testing, and collaborated closely with vendors and teammates. The experience shaped a mindset rooted in data, experimentation, and continual improvement. 

“Every challenge is a chance to learn. That’s the mindset I bring to every campaign.” 

What’s Next in Digital Marketing 

Anastasia is particularly excited about the rise of AI-driven personalization and how it’s changing search behavior. With smarter tools and targeting, marketers can create more tailored and relevant experiences than ever before. 

“For Kryterion, this means even better ways to connect with the right audiences at the right time.” 

Advice for New Team Members 

Her top tip? Stay curious and proactive. 

“Ask questions. Share ideas. Kryterion is full of talented people who want to collaborate. Don’t wait to be invited—get involved and take initiative.” 

What You Might Not Know 

Behind every successful digital campaign is a rigorous process of testing, data analysis, and creative iteration. Digital marketing is a mix of art and science, and her role brings both sides together. 

Outside the Office 

Running is Anastasia’s go-to way to clear her head and stay energized. She’s completed several 5K fun runs and is currently training for a half marathon. 

At home, she loves winding down with her husband, kids, and their 7-year-old German Shepherd, who she lovingly refers to as the fourth child in the family. 

Anastasia describes herself as independent, driven, and curious. And if she could try a different job for a day? 

“I’d be a travel writer or food critic. I used to write for SF Weekly when I lived in San Francisco, and it was such a fun way to explore culture and cuisine through storytelling.”
